Attributes System

The game features an RPG-style attribute system that affects various gameplay mechanics. Attributes improve over time as you perform related actions.

Core Attributes

There are 4 main attributes. Each starts at 3 (average human). Max is 10. Points above 3 provide bonuses.

Strength

Physical power and carrying capacity.

  • Carry Capacity: +3 kg per point above 3
  • Mining Bonus: +15% chance per point above 3 to gain extra stone when gathering in Mountains or Ruins
  • XP Gain: Hunting, Butchering, Carpentry

Agility

Speed, reflexes, and stealth.

  • Fatigue Reduction: -5% fatigue accumulation from movement per point above 3
  • Defense: +10% to Defense Rating per point above 3
  • Flee Chance: +3% chance to escape combat per point above 3
  • Stealth: -2% detection chance per point above 3
  • Fishing: +2% fishing success rate per point above 3
  • XP Gain: Stealth, Fishing, Tracking

Endurance

Stamina and damage resistance.

  • Injury Resistance: +3% chance to ignore an injury event per point above 3
  • Recovery: +5% condition recovery rate when resting/sleeping per point above 3
  • Max HP: +5 Max HP per point above 3
  • XP Gain: Gained passively by moving (walking/running) and taking damage

Intelligence

Mental acuity and medical efficiency.

  • XP Gain Bonus: +5% global XP gain per point above 3
  • Medicine Efficiency: +5% healing amount and +10% cure chance per point above 3 when using Medicine
  • Bandage Efficiency: +5% healing amount when using Bandages per point above 3
  • XP Gain: Crafting, Cooking, Farming

Tips for Attribute Development

  1. Strength: Hunt large game and do carpentry/woodcutting work
  2. Agility: Fish regularly, practice tracking, and use stealth mode
  3. Intelligence: Craft items, cook meals, and tend crops
  4. Endurance: Travel frequently (especially running) and survive injuries
